The Werkkiste as an employer
Since 2013, children have been coming to the Werkkiste (Workshop) in Hamburg to learn how to safely use tools and wood. They earn a tool license and can participate in a variety of workshops. The workshop provides the right tools in the appropriate sizes, as well as creative wooden construction kits and a wide range of accessories.
Werkkiste is a small family business comprised of a team of diverse ages and professions. A positive work environment and friendly collaboration are especially important to us.
Our employees are welcome to use the workshop, our rooms and garden for private projects.
The Werkkiste is committed to equal opportunities and therefore welcomes applications from people regardless of gender, age, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability, religion or worldview.
