The various tool sets in the toolbox were developed specifically for children in collaboration with experienced carpenters and educators. Years of experience from our woodworking shop have also been incorporated. We focus on durable and visually appealing tools that are functional, safe, and easy for children to use, and that will last them a long time. From hammers and screwdrivers to saws, the children's tools in the toolbox are designed to bring joy and are also environmentally friendly. Whether at a real workbench, on the go with a tool belt, or collected in a toolbox, we wish you lots of fun with your tools.
With the large tool set, you'll have everything you need and can get started right away. The small tool set is especially suitable for younger children and provides a solid basic set. If you prefer to choose and assemble your own hammer, saw, hand drill, square, and pliers, you'll find what you're looking for among the individual tools.
It doesn't always have to be a complete tool set. Especially in the beginning, it's more important to have a good place to work. A tool collection can be built up gradually. Perhaps budding young carpenters start with a toolbox and a sturdy saw. The tool set can then be supplemented with a file, hammer, pliers, and wood glue. Woodworking offers many possibilities, and there are many tools available. In our tool sets, we've made a sensible selection that will allow children to enjoy woodworking for a long time.
Our tools are all tried and tested in practice. We have been working with children in our workshop for many years. Together, we thoroughly test each tool. We only offer for sale those tools that we have had good experiences with even after several years. Taking into account educational, therapeutic, and practical aspects, we have compiled the most important tools into sets. Ecological and design aspects also played a role. Our goal is for as many children as possible to enjoy working with wood for a long time. We also consider the joy of giving the sets as gifts in their attractive packaging and therefore avoid unnecessary plastic wrapping during shipping.
It's not always easy to recognize quality. Many tools look good at first glance, but pose a danger to children when used. Seals of approval may indicate high-quality materials or standardized manufacturing, but that doesn't mean these tools are suitable for children. It's often helpful to examine the tools closely and try them out yourself. Does it feel good and sturdy? Would I enjoy working with this tool myself?
Saws and knives should be sharp, but the tools should otherwise have no sharp edges. The size, especially of the handles, and also the shape must be suitable for children's hands and arm strength. Overall, the tools should give a well-proportioned impression.
Feel free to send us a photo or give us a call. We're happy to advise you on all aspects of woodworking with children.
